The property manager demanded everything be removed by today and has said he will call the police on anyone skating here. Steps are being taken to find a compromise so everyone is being asked to avoid pissing off the owners, but as of now it seems junkies make better neighbors than skateboarders.

Donovan is trying to get shit done. It might just be some rotting wooden ramps on a tennis court but at least it’s getting the news and a city council member to pay attention. If you live in the 5th District of Richmond, send Councilman Marty Jewell an email and thank him for showing support and encourage him to push for the building of a permanent park in Richmond.

Dominion posted video this couple days ago. For those unfamiliar, Hippoland used to be the slab spot in Richmond Virginia for a number of years. Last winter this place pretty much got shut down (ledges smashed, angle iron stolen)… Of course no one has really tried rebuilding in a more permanent method, so there may be life left in this spot, if someonefelt inclined to give it an attempt. In any case, this video is pretty much the entire Dominion crew (Gilbert Crockett, Maury Blankinship, Jordan Bradshaw, Erich Bielefeldt, Jack Beckett, Tyler Beall, Josh Swyers, Andrew Cauthen, Matt Kauchak, Josh Dew, and Alex Peregoy) so enjoy some solid shredding.

For the past few years there has been some awesomeness brewing in the woods of Missouri. Hermann’s Hole symbolizes the dream… DIY concrete on your own land! Every year they have a party to get some shredding done and raise funds for more building. They just posted a bunch of flicks from the party so check them out and support this project if you can.

The Last Days Has Begun: Foundation

The guys at AtlantaHatesUs.com have two videos up from the very last big event at their DIY slab spot, The Foundation. The city will be dozing the site soon in preparation for building a legit park… will they boner the whole operation? Only time will tell. For now enjoy the videos.

And for anyone who thinks the title of this post is grammatically incorrect, you are right. But it’s intentional. See there was this rooftop in Atlanta that got painted about six or seven years ago and was a major source of confusion for all those who witnessed it’s message.
