Two days late.. Or almost week early! Famosa! It’s chicken beer! Well it’s got a chicken on the label and it tastes pretty blah… so yeah, chicken beer. It’s Nicaraguan but I first had it in LA. Then I had it again today in Norfolk Va. It tastes like beer would if beer tasted like chicken piss. It’s pretty bad (like bud/miller/etc) but it’s got a chicken on the label so therefore it is superior.
Don’t be that guy. Nobody likes a beer snob. All beer is good, some better (sometimes much better) than others. I like Famosa – no I love it. Especially when eating carne asada on corn tortillas. I liken Famosa to Heineken, with a less bitter finish. But what do I know, I’m not a beer snob. I just like beer.
Can I be defined as a “beer snob” if 90% of my beer consumption consists of High Life?
